We are a small family run Mckenzie Friends family law and civil law support, based in the East Midlands, but operate nationally, we work on a Fix rate service, so what we quote you is what you pay, no hidden extras.
We have many years experience with dealing with the family court, both professional and personally, each case is totally different, if we have to travel for a court hearing or meeting this is chargeable for travel expenses and accmodation only.
We have both male and female Mckenzie Friends, this is to ensure our client is looked after right, as certain things we come across are and can be sensitive, some people prefer to talk and deal with the same sex, this is our promise to you the client,

What We Can Do:
A McKenzie friend can help the survivor get her papers together and in the right order for hearings, help her with documents she needs to prepare by discussing what she wants to say in those documents or help her with finding where she has to send documents.
What We Cannot Do:
McKenzie Friends cannot: speak in court (i.e. question witnesses or talk to the judge) manage cases outside court. act as an agent.
We can however quietly advise our client, this can be done by usually writing things down within the court room its self, outside of court and and within consultation sessions/Meetings.
While McKenzie friends do not have a right of audience or the right to conduct litigation, the court may however grant such rights on a case-by-case basis (Legal Services Act 2007 (LSA 2007)). It should be noted that rights of audience and the right to conduct litigation are separate rights.
